Juristec+ at Legal Hackers

Legal Hackers is a global movement on law and technology that aims to discuss current issues of innovation and development in order to apply them in the legal universe. People from different backgrounds such as lawyers, designers, programmers and students come together in different parts of the world to explore and think of creative solutions to some of the most pressing issues at the intersection of law and technology.

Through local meetups, hackathons and workshops, Legal Hackers identify problems and opportunities where technology can improve the practice of law and where law and policy can adapt to rapid technological change.

Isabella Ribeiro Nogueira, a sixth semester Law student at São Judas University, together with three friends is one of the organizers of Legal Hackers at the institution. She says she found out about the project through the Internet and became very interested in the topic, and since then she has organized lectures and discussions.

The next meeting will take place this Saturday, June 29th, at the university itself, Butantã campus at 10am, room 102 and will have Artificial Intelligence as its theme. Bruna Demes, Juristec's Operations Director, and Enrico Roberto, PhD in AI and Law from the University of São Paulo, will explain and clarify doubts about the content by giving a lecture.

This is a great opportunity for the student or professional who wishes to keep up to date about this environment that will still be much explored.
